Amalia is a fully qualified APA registered physiotherapist with additional qualifications in dry needling and Pilates. Amalia has published with the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology as a part of her Masters Degree and was also the recipient of the 2014 Academic Excellence Prize for the highest GPA. She spent 6 years as head physiotherapist for South Adelaide Panthers Football (Soccer) Club.
Amalia is passionate about physiotherapy. Her approach is thorough, hands-on, functional, and goal-orientated to ensure you get back to doing what you love as soon as possible. Amalia strives to find a permanent solution rather than a quick fix and is not after mediocre results but strives to give you the best treatment possible, whilst always seeking to further her knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Amalia has a special interest in sporting injuries, biomechanics, pain science, disc injuries/sciatica, chronic neck & back pain, shoulder injuries, and headaches.
Outside of work, Amalia is a dedicated horse rider with an interest in horsemanship & dressage. She loves keeping active but also indulging in cheese, wine, and chocolate!
