Ms Alicia Fisher Psychologist

Alicia is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology. Alicia is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and is registered with Medicare to provide services under Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Alicia’s approach is warm, and client-centred with a focus on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She ensures intervention is tailored to each individual and they are provided with a safe and supportive space to explore their thoughts and feelings. Alicia works collaboratively with parents and other professionals to ensure that the best therapeutic outcomes can be achieved. Alicia enjoys working with children, adolescents and young adults. She has experience working with a range of presentations across the lifespan including behavioural/social difficulties, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, work stress, parenting difficulties, depression and anxiety disorders such as separation, phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
