Mrs Veronica Cook Psychologist

Veronica is the owner and Director of The Lighthouse Psychology Practice.She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, an Associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), member of the Association of Psychologists in Developmental Disability (PsychDD); and a registered Medicare Australia Provider. She is an approved Supervisor for Provisionally Registered Psychologists and provides professional development training on a range of topics to allied health professionals and other disciplines. Veronica has worked in private and community health settings for over 10 years in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, grief & loss and complex behavioural issues across the lifespan. She has particular interest in working with women around mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma, parenting and attachment difficulties; and employs Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy in her work with patients.
