Therese Hilton is a registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in the treatment of anxiety, adjustment, pain and mood disorders in adults, and anxiety and oppositional behaviour in children. She has worked in a range of settings over the last 15 years including The Black Dog Institute (UNSW), Pain Management Department at POWH, Macquarie University Anxiety and Research Unit and Generalist Counselling in Community Health at Nowra. Therese uses evidence based treatments. She predominantly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to formulate and treat presenting issues, and also draws on ACT, DBT, mindfulness and schema therapy where appropriate.
