Overview

Therase is a qualified Counsellor with a Bachelor of Counselling from CHC. She has a strong focus on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. My journey has been shaped by both formal training and real-world experience, and I am deeply committed to supporting my clients in reaching their full potential. I have specialized training in areas such as Children and Family Counselling, Grief and Loss, Complex PTSD, and Gottman Method Relationship Counselling (Level 1). In addition to my academic qualifications, I bring over 15 years of hands-on experience as a teacher's aide in a local primary school, where I worked closely with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, social/emotional difficulties, and behavioral challenges. This experience has given me a unique understanding of the needs of children and families, as well as a passion for fostering personal growth in clients of all ages. My approach is person-centered, meaning I tailor my support to meet your individual needs, at your pace, and in a compassionate, non-judgmental space. I aim to support you to reach your goals and love working with people of diverse backgrounds and stages of life. Whether you're seeking help with relationship issues, grief, anxiety, or personal growth, I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey of growth and transformation. Areas of Special Interest: * Couple & Family Counselling * Grief & Loss Support * Anxiety & Stress Management * Personal Growth As your counsellor, my goal is to help you navigate difficult emotions, or times and create meaningful changes in your life. I look forward to working with you to build a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you can feel heard, valued, and supported.
