Overview

Experienced in developing strong therapeutic relationships that are grounded in person centred, trauma informed and strengths-based principles to create the space for genuine connection. Specialisation in working with neurodivergent children, young adults, adults and their families striving to support self advocacy, inclusion through affirming practice. With experience working with carers and patients with terminal illnes, aged care, and challenging and chronic health conditions, I understand the complexities of how loss and grief manifests for patients and family members. Walking alongside and holding space for these clients and families is a privilege. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Reminiscence and Narrative therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.
