S. George is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) and Critical Care Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of diverse clinical experience across Australia and Ireland. She specialises in diabetes education, adult critical care, aged care, maternity and neonatal care, and perioperative nursing.
Her passion lies in helping adult people living with diabetes—particularly prediabetes, T1DM, T2DM, LADA, steroid-induced diabetes, women with diabetes in pregnancy and gestational diabetes—gain the knowledge and confidence in diabetes persons for their diabetes self-management. She provides evidence-based education on glucose monitoring, CGMs, insulin administration, individual and group diabetes education programs, and individualised diabetes care plans tailored to each person's lifestyle and cultural background.
Soji is dedicated to empowering diabetes individuals and their families, collaborating closely with GPs, allied health professionals, and community services to deliver holistic, person-centred care. She also contributes to health professional education, case-based learning, and community health promotion activities.
