Mrs Shyan Juang Low Psychologist

Shyan is passionate about improving psychological wellbeing and standard of living for individuals across cultures and age range, by encouraging individuals to continuously develop and improve their positive coping and problem-solving skills. Shyan also strongly believe in using an eclectic approach so as to create a comfortable environment and cater to individualized needs. Shyan received her Bachelor of Psychological Sciences from La Trobe University, her Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychology from Monash University, and her Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Bond University. She is currently clinically registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). She also had served on the Gold Coast Australian Psychological Society Board for 2 years. Shyan has experience working with a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She also has extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities, including Intellectual Disability (ID) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Thanks to her current and previous employments, Shyan has built up a repertoire of skills and experiences in areas such as anxiety management, mood management, and emotional regulation. Shyan has a keen interest in working with a wide range of presentations such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Shyan has worked in a range of settings, including schools, government organisations, and private practice.
