Sherine is a mental health clinician specialising in work with children, adolescents, and families, providing a warm, supportive environment for healing and growth. She works in a gentle, collaborative way, helping clients feel understood and supported as they navigate emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology, Criminology and Justice and a Master of Counselling and has extensive experience in community mental health, including supporting clients with complex presentations. Her work with First Nations clients and people from diverse cultural backgrounds has shaped her inclusive, culturally responsive approach. Sherine has a particular interest in neurodiversity, perinatal wellbeing, trauma-informed care, and supporting individuals and families adjusting to chronic health conditions or major life transitions. She works with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and family relationship issues. Her therapeutic approach draws on CBT, DBT skills, schema therapy, narrative therapy, attachment-based work, and trauma-informed practice. Sherine values the therapeutic relationship and works in a compassionate, attuned, and developmentally responsive way, supporting clients to make sense of their experiences and move toward meaningful change. Sherine offers support for children, young people, adults, and families in a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences with care, curiosity, and compassion.
