Rebecca Pearce is founder, director and principal psychologist at Berwick Psychology and Hypnosis. She has vast experience working with clients across the lifespan presenting with various concerns including unresolved trauma, anxiety, mood disorder, body image and self-confidence challenges, spiritual crises, professional and work-related issues, personality challenges and many more clinical presentations.
Before stepping into private practice, Rebecca worked in a hospital psychiatric ward, community agencies for children, families, substance use and dual diagnosis and a private practice for adolescents and adults with moderate-severe eating disorders.
Rebecca has trained in a multitude of therapies including CBT-e (eating disorder credentialed), schema, EMDR and attachment-informed EMDR, Clinical hypnotherapy, CBT, ACT, interpersonal, family systems, relationship therapy, attachment and trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, breathwork, mindfulness, yoga, somatic therapies, integrative mental health and more recently coaching. Her personal passion is learning and expanding her knowledge and wisdom for her own benefits and to support her colleagues, supervisees and clients.
Currently Rebecca is enjoying using EMDR for trauma, anxiety, performance and body image concerns, is running group hypnotherapy programs to teach others to use hypnosis for healing, supervises experienced and new therapy graduates (including psychologists, social workers, counsellors and other therapists), and supports her in-house team to deliver outstanding psychological services to the community of Berwick and wider Australia via telehealth.
Rebecca is also a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother to humans and fur babies, loves to read, cook, snowboard, walk, yoga, nature and socialising with close friends and family. She dislikes shopping, sitting down for too long and windy, cold, rainy days (the snow is an exception!).
