Narelle is a compassionate, gentle and person-centred counsellor. Her practise is trauma-informed, and she holds a strong awareness that every person’s story is unique and deserving of being heard and held with care. Creating a safe, attuned, and trusting therapeutic relationship is central to her work.
Narelle brings over 15 years’ experience from working in both the education and health sectors. In the education setting, she has worked closely with adolescents and families. In the health sector, she has supported women and families through grief and loss, and holds a particular interest in women’s wellbeing, as they transition through various life stages.
Narelle works with adolescent and adult individuals, families, and couples. She draws from a mixed-modality framework that includes Psychodynamic Therapy (Understanding how past experiences shape present thoughts, feelings and relationships), Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Therapy (FST) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Narelle is passionate about walking alongside her clients as they move toward hope, growth, and healing.
Narelle is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counsellor’s Federation of Australia (PACFA).
