Professional Bio – Marianne O’Donnell
Marianne O’Donnell is a counsellor with 17 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities facing complex personal, relational, and trauma related challenges. She provides a structured, steady, and reliable therapeutic environment that prioritises safety, clarity, and client led pacing.
Marianne tailors her work to each client’s needs, drawing from a broad range of evidence based modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic based approaches, trauma informed practice, domestic violence informed frameworks, and family systems understanding. Her practice is grounded, methodical, and focused on meaningful and sustainable change.
She has extensive experience in the family and domestic violence sector, working with children, adult victim survivors, and people using violence. Marianne also has a long history of developing and facilitating group programs, providing professional supervision, and delivering specialized training within multidisciplinary teams.
Marianne works with adults, couples, families, and young people experiencing trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, and significant life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, respectful, and guided by clear therapeutic principles.
