Mrs Leisa Lawson Physiotherapist

Leisa has over 15 years experience in Women's Health Physiotherapy, with a special interest in treatment of mastitis, blocked ducts and engorgement using therapeutic ultrasound, lymphatic drainage massage and fascial techniques that help to improve blood and lymph flow, reducing inflammation. Leisa also has a passion for helping women with managing discomfort or concerns in the antenatal and postnatal period including pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, neck/back/tailbone pain, abdominal wall recovery, continence, constipation or painful intercourse. Leisa has lectured for the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) on abdominal wall recovery, created the Obstetrics component of the Physiotherapy course for ACU university, and taught lectures/practicals at both ACU and University of Queensland.
