Mrs Lara Petrulis Psychologist

Lara Petrulis is a Registered Psychologist with over 18 years of counselling experience. She specialises in the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Past Childhood Abuse/Neglect and Grief/ Loss. As part of the therapeutic process, Lara assists clients to explore what lies beneath the problem, and equips clients with skills to effectively manage their symptoms. Clients begin to understand why they think, feel and behave in the way that they do, and they start to make sense of life questions such as 'why do I constantly doubt myself and avoid new challenges?'...'why do I worry incessantly about the way I behaved and replay it in my mind?'...'why did react so strongly?'... 'why am I feeling so low?' Clients are supported from a holistic position to work with parts of the self to bring about healing. Working in this way brings about a depth of change that is long term and life changing.
