Mrs Kathryn O’Dwyer Psychologist (Registrar)

Kat is a registered psychologist with several years of experience as a school psychologist, providing tailored support to children, adolescents, and adults to meet their unique needs and goals. She works with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, behavioural challenges, and school- or peer-related issues. Kat is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and empathetic therapeutic environment and places a strong emphasis on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship, which she views as essential for effective treatment. Her approach is evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. Kat is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is currently working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
