I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) through the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with a passion for supporting adults navigating workplace stress and burnout, generalised stress, anxiety and grief and loss.
My approach is warm and authentic, and I am passionate about walking alongside my clients to empower them to make the meaningful changes in their life that they wish to see. My therapeutic approach is person-centred and strengths-based and I am often curious about my clients experience within their broader systems and networks (families, relationships and community). I often use Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focussed Therapy approaches in my sessions. I have completed training in ACT, MI, CBT, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP, Level 1) and DBT (specifically Distress Tolerance Skills).
My priority in therapy is to make you feel heard, seen, valued and always Held in Mind.
