Overview

Mrs Jessica Pitt, Clinical & School Psychologist. I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience. The majority of my experience has been working with children, adolescents and their families on a variety of issues. These issues include anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation and self-harm. I also have extensive experience within the school setting and so work with youth with psychological, behavioural and learning difficulties. I also have a particular interest in resilience and social issues having completed my Master’s thesis on cyber bullying. These clients presented with a variety of clinical issues including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder and adjustment disorders. Provided psychological services to a remote community. Provided professional development to staff and students and supported with critical incident management. Currently practice using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.
