Overview

Married, mother of two children, Jerusha is a compassionate and warm counsellor, deeply committed to providing a calm, grounded space for all seasons of life for teens and for women in young adulthood onward to slow down, breathe, and rediscover their sense of self, purpose, and renewed hope. Jerusha provides Counselling for teens, assisting in developing healthy coping mechanisms, building self-confidence, and improving communication skills within a safe space. Whether they’re struggling with anxiety, depression, resilience, peer pressure, or identity issues, she works closely with each young person to address their unique needs and concerns. Jerusha can incorporate play, creativity and art into her therapy sessions. Jerusha is committed to empowering all clients to navigate the challenges they are facing and create a safe and supportive environment where they can express themselves freely. She brings valuable experience from her recent specialised roles in working within an alternative school, supporting at risk and disengaged students providing trauma-informed care, helping them manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and reconnect with their sense of identity, as well as her time Counselling at a Pregnancy Support Center. Jerusha is passionate about helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns. She works collaboratively with you to identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and foster personal growth. Jerusha walks alongside women and teens as they explore what feels most important, discovering clarity and steadiness along the way. She loves to equip and empower clients with the tools they need to build resilience, discover their true self, and create a life of purpose and meaning.
