Overview

Jemma (she/her) is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, EMDRAA Accredited Consultant and AASW Full Member (Australian Association of Social Workers). Jemma has a passion for working with survivors of complex trauma (eg: family violence, sexual abuse, childhood trauma/neglect) and folks with dissociative disorders/responses (self-identified or formally identified) including: OSDD, DID etc. Jemma is also passionate about working with neurodivergent folk (again self or formally identified) including but not limited to: Autism, ADHD and 2E (gifted) profiles. Jemma's therapeutic approach is warm and genuine, and she values clients as the experts of their own experiences. Jemma also provides clinical supervision and EMDR Consultation to allied health professionals. Outside of Bloom, Jemma can be found spending time in nature, travelling and hanging out with her two dogs (Dexter and Malia.) Jemma also works alongside a team of professionals at Bloom Well-being, who are passionate about ensuring that everyone receives a quality service, that feels warm and supportive.
