Overview

Ivannia is a registered Psychologist whom is devoted to developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship and providing client-focused treatment to achieve individual goals. She believes in the importance of providing evidence-based therapies and adapting different modalities of therapies to achieve client-focused results. In working with her clients, Ivannia’s focus is on resolving past and current issues, as well as in developing awareness and resilience to assist clients’ coping and adjustment during times of impasse or transition. She respects the uniqueness of every individual, couple or family. Her primary aim is to facilitate insight and assist with the development of skills needed to change recurrent patterns of unhelpful behaviour, thinking and relating that can often result in distress and dissatisfaction. Originally from a Hispanic background, Ivannia welcomes clients from diverse multicultural and multinational backgrounds, and is able to offer her services to Spanish-speaking clients. Ivannia works effectively with clients to treat a range of issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment, grief, anger, trauma, and stress amongst others.
