Mrs Anna Garlick (She/her)Social Worker

Anna is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and has extensive experience in working with children from 3-18years old. She uses a variety of evidence based techniques to assist children and adolescents in working through their difficulties in a relaxed and inviting environment. Anna is experienced in treating and managing a range of presenting problems including: * Emotional issues such as anxiety and depression *Anger and behavioural disorders * Trauma and stress related issues *Self esteem and social difficulties in children and adolescents. Anna has completed further studies to become a qualified play therapist, and is currently able to use these practices in her sessions with children. Anna has been providing individual counselling for adults and EAP clients using CBT, mindfulness, acceptance commitment therapy and solution focused strategies. At Red Bird Room, Anna provides a warm and welcoming environment to make clients feel at ease and comfortable.
