Angela draws techniques from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing and Interpersonal Therapy. She offers support and intervention for a range of issues, including; depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, OCD, sleep disturbance, ADHD, eating disorders (non-restrictive), anger management, lifestyle/habit change and pain management.
Angela utilises a trauma informed approach, recognising the impact of past trauma or adverse life events on current mental health symptoms. In doing this, she utilises a combination of EMDR, CBT and Schema Therapy to achieve positive mental health outcomes for her clients.
Angela has completed additional postgraduate qualifications in human nutrition and has a keen interest in the gut-brain connection and the impact of nutrition on mental health. She utilises a holistic approach to well-being, as she recognises the importance of addressing both lifestyle and cognitive habits in reducing depressive and anxious symptoms.
Angela is currently only accepting new adult clients and teens aged 16 and up.
