Mr Jackson Yin (Chinese Medicine) is an AHPRA registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner with over 17 years of clinical experience in Australia. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) and has furthered his studies at UTS. His family history of TCM spans four generations.
YIN combines traditional TCM meridian theory with modern medical fascia and holographic principles in his practice. He uses evidence-based methods, abdominal diagnosis, acupuncture, and herbal medicine to help with a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including pain relief, male dysfunction, and female endocrine imbalances, common and rare discomforts.
Having served at Mater Hospital North Sydney’s post-surgery oncology department, YIN uses acupuncture to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, improving the post-surgery quality of life for cancer patients.
In 2018, YIN participated in a research group at the University of Kentucky, USA, focusing on the clinic study of Parkinson's disease and dopamine dysfunction. He provided clinical data with acupuncture intervention and co-authored a publication on the topic. Since then, he accumulated extensive experience with the epidemic of age-related diseases including Parkinson's disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
