Solution-focused approach to providing holistic support. I believe that people are capable and resilient, and get the best outcomes by looking inwards and also at the systems they exist within such as the workplace, checking alignment based on personal values, preferences and individual attributes. I focus on goal-directed behavior, and coping with challenges such as financial stress or anxiety, high-performing anxiety and workplace stress and burnout. I believe this area can be of tremendous risk or protection to ones well-being, and that one can positively leverage it to improve the quality of their life.
Completed a Masters of Organisational Psychology at Deakin University, Honours in Psychology at the Cairnmillar Institute and a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Monash University. Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). I apply a solution-focused approach, and consider principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and if appropriate apply coaching principles to achieve client determined goals.
Apply psychological science and principles to business and military settings, to achieve outcomes at different levels of an organisation and have a background working at the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Given my experience I am well equipped to consider individuals from a workplace lens, as well as holistically including factors such as work-life integration and the interaction of different aspects of one's life on performance, individual satisfaction and well-being.
