We all fall on hard times. Darkness and malevolence are part of the human condition, and tragedy often strikes when we least expect it. The counterbalance is a deep human connection – a helping hand or guiding light. The first step to getting that help is often the hardest, and finding the right person is important.
I see the role of the psychologist as an advocate; a person who sees you, understands you, and provides unconditional support. I see you as the expert of your life and the author of your story. The therapeutic process that unfolds is one where I create a respectful, warm, and non-judgemental space for us to work together. Drawing on my training and experience, I’ll help you connect the dots between thoughts and actions, identify harmful patterns, and ultimately provide you with the tools needed to break through your barriers.
Reaching out for help can be daunting but it is a necessary first step - one which you have already taken. It only gets easier from here. I look forward to working with you.
