Taren Mieran has a particular interest in working with young people and individuals with neurodiversity, and has experience supporting young people in school settings. He is especially passionate about using a strengths-based approach to help them build confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, and thrive in their everyday lives.
With a background in academia as a published researcher, Taren is strongly committed to evidence-based practice and tailoring his approach to meet each client’s unique needs. He draws on extensive training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.
