Overview

Sometimes Life gets difficult and we don't always have the resources to weather the storm or ride out the waves; but we all do the best we can with what we have, and sometimes counselling is about preparing better shelter for the next storm, or learning to surf those waves. Lets work on these skills together, get you back out and enjoying Life. Lets work together to thrive and enjoy. I am a mental health professional with qualifications and experience in psychology and counselling; intensive therapeutic care (including significant disability), trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour management and planning, adult and youth corrections, rehabilitation coordination, risk assessment and crisis planning, training and assessment, group facilitation, community services. I strive to ensure my practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based and positive psychology focused in an effort to assist clients in increasing skills, knowledge and capacity toward resilience and self-determination. Through reflective practice I assess myself and my skills, seeking to fill gaps in training/technique as a life-long learner. I operate my Counselling Practice specialising in the mental health of Men & Boys, Trauma & PTSD related issues, learning difficulties and disabilities, anxiety and depression (and related SH / SI behaviours). Also assist people dealing with issues relating to covid vaccine injury and job loss related depression and anxiety.
