Overview

Peter Simpson has more than twenty years of experience in the disability and education fields, starting as a direct care worker in the early nineties and more recently spending nearly eight years in Disability Employment Services as an Employment Consultant and Site Manager. He has managed educational facilities in both Greece and Sydney, Australia, where he also provided student counselling and support. He earned his undergraduate and graduate qualifications in psychology from the University of Melbourne and RMIT University respectively, as well as a Masters in Counselling Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology. Working with disadvantaged jobseekers for nearly half his career has given Peter great insight into the many barriers that can hold us back from realising our potential, as well as what motivates us towards lasting and meaningful change. Mindful Focus is the culmination of a dream for Peter, providing a vehicle for offering counselling, coaching and training services to a wide range of audiences - from the most vulnerable in our community to corporations and everyone in between. Helping people overcome their barriers and effect positive change in their life are Peter's main drivers.
