Overview

Peter is a Clinical Psychologist and a Counselling Psychologist and would suit individuals seeking support for complex trauma (including Schizophrenia, C-PTSD, childhood trauma, dissociative identity disorder and other dissociative disorders) as well as other psychological challenges. His approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing upon therapeutic modalities of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy; therapies for structural dissociation; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); and Compassion Focused Therapy. Peter welcomes clients under Medicare (with mental health care plan), NDIS (self and plan managed), workcover, defence, and private insurance. He works Tuesdays and Wednesdays from the New Farm Wellness Centre.
