Paddy is a Clinical Psychologist who completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Adelaide. He has worked across a range of settings, including private practice, public inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and community rehabilitation programs.
He supports adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and stress-related conditions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use, gambling and pornography-related issues and grief and loss.
Paddy is trained in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Metacognitive Training (MCT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
Central to Paddy’s practice is building warm, trusting, and strengths-based relationships with clients. He values the expertise that each client brings and sees therapy as a collaborative process of uncovering and building on their own knowledge and skills. Most importantly, Paddy is committed to supporting clients in working towards their own definition of recovery—creating a meaningful and fulfilling life beyond their current challenges.
