After completing his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Sociology, Michael went on to complete his Masters in Educational Psychology. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Michael is trained in a number of different psychological approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. Michael is also a trained Mental Health First Aid provider.
Michael has had over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. He has worked in a number of government agencies and in private practice. During the last 5 years he has worked in a setting which specialises in working with children and young people with autism. Michael has also presented numerous workshops and training in mental health for teachers, parents and community-based personnel.
