Matt is a qualified and experienced clinical myotherapist. He began his interest in massage studies in 2012 and now holds a Bachelor of Clinical Myotherapy, a Certificate of Sports Massage, and a Sports Trainer Level 1 certificate. Matthew graduated from Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and worked in his business throughout his studies. He also graduated from Torrens University with a Bachelor of Clinical Myotherapy in 2022.
Matt has a special interest in shoulder pain management and has completed additional training in advanced dry needling for the shoulder complex. He enjoys using his skills to help his clients overcome shoulder pain symptoms and dysfunction, neck pain, and tension headaches. Matthew also worked with personal trainers and sports therapists. He thoroughly enjoys working with the body and treating a variety of complaints, including those related to biomechanical dysfunction. Every treatment is customised to suit the client on the day. Matt has worked with some high-profile sporting clubs as part of their health team and continues to work with Baseball Victoria as one of their sponsors to help with the health needs of the sport.
When needed, Matt refers clients to a wide network of trusted professionals. Referrals are also accepted from GPs, physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, or other health professionals. Matthew’s top priority is improving patients’ range of motion, pain management, and treating dysfunction first.
Matt values ongoing communication with other treating practitioners, as a multi-faceted approach is often needed to address complex conditions. He strives to maximise the best possible outcomes for every patient.
