Overview

Highly experienced mental health nurse specialising in psychological therapy to overcome the effects of experiencing or witnessing trauma, abuse, neglect, domestic violence in childhood or adulthood (including PTSD and complex PTSD). Highly regarded for his advanced skills and knowledge regarding trauma, having developed and delivered specialist trauma training to hundreds of clinicians and professionals. Awarded 'Mental Health Nurse of the Year 2015' by Queensland Health (TUH), and nominee for multiple additional awards in healthcare. Prior to establishing his service (Vista Advanced Psychological Therapy), Karl was a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Trauma Therapist) for Queensland Health, providing in person and telehealth psychological therapy in rural and remote locations in North Queensland.
