Overview

Kadell joined the TLC team as a physiotherapist early in 2023, bringing extensive experience from various roles in exercise science and strength and conditioning. Originally from the island state of Tasmania, he moved to Brisbane in 2020 to complete a Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland, after earning his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Tasmania. Throughout his career, Kadell has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for AFL Tasmania, completed an internship with the North Melbourne AFLW team, and worked as a personal trainer in multiple gyms. He holds further certifications as a Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach and Level 1 Sports Trainer. His passion for exercise and movement is evident, especially in helping individuals enhance their physical abilities and achieve pain-free movement. Kadell has developed significant expertise in treating lower-limb and running injuries, with a special focus on athletic performance. In addition to his musculoskeletal work, he has extensive experience supporting individuals living with a disability, working in aged care, hydrotherapy and treating a variety of complex cases. In his free time, Kadell enjoys staying active through running, having completed several marathons and an ultra-marathon in the past year. He also loves exploring the outdoors, often hiking to waterfalls or camping by the beach.
