Overview

Hi, I’m Jotham and I’m a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with individuals across all stages of life. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, and I tailor every session to meet each person’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances. I work from a biopsychosocial perspective, considering how biological, psychological, and social factors all interact to shape a person’s wellbeing and experiences. In my therapeutic work, I draw on a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-based techniques, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or tapping). As a therapist, I’m known for being warm, genuine, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. I treat every person with dignity and respect, focusing on who they are rather than the challenges they’re facing. My approach is collaborative, I listen closely, provide honest feedback, and work with clients toward shared goals that promote meaningful change and wellbeing. I work with people experiencing a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioural difficulties, as well as those seeking to reduce stress, build self-esteem, strengthen relationships, enhance productivity, or simply maintain their mental wellness. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in moving toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
