Overview

Joe Hanna is a Sydney based Clinical Neuropsychologist that has been involved in research, assessment and rehabilitation of clients sustaining traumatic brain injury since 2001. He currently holds the appointment of Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist at Royal Rehab within the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit, an area that he has worked in for over 10 years. During this time, he has further worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in private practice and has consulted to a large range of private and government agencies conducting medico-legal and rehabilitation focused neuropsychological assessments within a diverse client population. He further provides positive behaviour support to high need clients including focused psychological interventions, behaviour monitoring, formulation of complex behaviour support plans, education to family, care workers and therapists. He is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and holds endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology. He has further been appointed as a Dispute Assessor for the Life Time Care and Support Scheme. He holds an Honorary Academic appointment at Macquarie University, and has been a lecturer of postgraduate students since 2013.
