Physiotherapist
Jon Zhou is an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist and Chinese medicine practitioner, providing an integrative and patient-centred approach to rehabilitation and healthcare. He combines evidence-based physiotherapy with traditional Chinese medicine techniques to support pain management, functional recovery, and long-term wellbeing.
He has extensive clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, sports and work-related injuries, joint stiffness, and movement dysfunctions. His treatment approach integrates physiotherapy, acupuncture, remedial massage, and manual therapy techniques, including tuina, cupping, and bone setting, to restore mobility and improve quality of life.
Jon is also a certified Tai Chi instructor and yoga teacher, incorporating mindful movement, postural alignment, and breathing strategies into rehabilitation programmes to enhance neuromuscular control, balance, and functional outcomes.
He provides physiotherapy services under NDIS, SIRA (Workers Compensation), and CTP (motor vehicle accident insurance) schemes, and also offers myAgedCare and home-based physiotherapy services, supporting individuals requiring rehabilitation following workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical recovery, or long-term functional impairments. Clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress reporting are delivered in accordance with scheme requirements.
As the State Vice President NSW/ACT, Tai Chi Association of Australia (TCAA), Jon is actively involved in community health promotion and natural therapy advocacy, and committed to delivering personalised care tailored to each individual’s functional goals, lifestyle needs, and recovery pathway.
