Mr Jay Beckley Psychologist

Applied Psychology Peregian Springs, Queensland, 4573

Overview

I'm Jay Beckley, like most psychologists I enjoy supporting people that have a range of problems from anxiety and depression to being overwhelmed with everyday stress and cope by using alcohol and/or drugs. It is extremely rewarding and a privilege to be a part of your journey and assisting you to manage the ups and downs. With my work I'm guided by simple values: compassion, collaboration, and being solution and outcome focused. I like to clearly understand your problem through a meaningful non-judgemental discussion and participate in practical problem solving and monitor change. My ultimate goal is to increase the quality of your life. Since 2006 I have been working with adults with substance use and co-existing mental health disorders. I have worked in mental health inpatient and community settings. I have also provided alcohol and other drug support in community and inpatient settings as well as forensic mental health and correctional facilities. I am very passionate about what I do.
