Overview

Isaac is a proud Gamilaraay, passionately advocating for the past 18 years, for the reduction of violence across individuals and organisations. If you’re coming through your Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you might be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious or “on edge”, at work, at home, or both. You may be dealing with workplace conflict or bullying, heavy workloads, exposure to trauma in your role, performance pressure, family and domestic violence, or personal relationships and safety concerns that are starting to affect your wellbeing at work. In our sessions, you’ll have a confidential, non-judgemental space to slow down, be heard, and work out what you need right now, whether that’s practical strategies to get through the workday, support to set boundaries, or space to process traumatic or distressing experiences. We focus on what feels most urgent and most helpful for you, at a pace that feels safe. I am a proud Gamilaraay counsellor with extensive experience supporting staff in non-profit and corporate settings, including frontline workers, managers and executives who are navigating complex workloads, vicarious trauma, organisational change and high expectations. I also understand the specific pressures that First Nations staff can carry, including cultural load, racism, expectations from community and family, and the strain of being “the cultural person” in workplaces. Our work together can include making sense of these experiences, strengthening your supports, and finding safer, more sustainable ways to stay well in your role.
