Mr Guanlong Chen Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Dr Chen (TCM) holds registered qualifications as a Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist in both China and Australia, and has been engaged in clinical practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for more than sixty years. He comes from a family of TCM practitioners, with four generations in Chinese medical practice. From an early age, he was immersed in traditional TCM culture and clinical experience. In his early years, he studied under the disciples of several senior Shanghai TCM masters, including Daolong Chen, Shaotang Zhang, Shouyan Lu, and Shaokang Xu. His training covered classical TCM theory as well as clinical practice, spanning fields such as TCM internal medicine, paediatrics, and acupuncture. He is currently a member of the Shanghai Health Workers Association and the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society of Australia. Dr Chen places equal emphasis on acupuncture and herbal medicine, and has accumulated considerable experience in the following areas: TCM internal medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, andrology, dermatology, as well as traumatic injuries, pain management, weight management, complex or chronic conditions, and cancer co-rehabilitation. His clinical scope includes, but is not limited to, eczema, herpes zoster (shingles), acne, dysmenorrhoea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhoea, abnormal vaginal discharge, infertility, prostatitis, cervicitis, chronic cough, asthma, insomnia, emotional stress, headache, dizziness, gout musculoskeletal and cervical spondylosis.
