Mr Greg Barker Psychologist

Greg Barker is a compassionate and genuine Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience across public hospital, community mental health, and forensic settings. Greg is also currently employed as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within NSW Health. Greg provides psychological therapy and interventions for both general and complex mental health problems. He works with clients experiencing difficulties in areas as depression, anxiety, psychoses, complicated grief, trauma and complex-PTSD, eating disorders, and personality disorders. Greg works with adults of all ages. Greg’s clinical approach draws from a number of modalities and evidence based therapies, however is predominantly based upon schema therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), with a strong focus on understanding each person’s unique characteristics and life experiences.
