Overview

David Kendall, a Registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) has had over seventeen years’ experience providing psychological therapy in both the public and private sectors. David has had extensive professional experience in a wide variety of areas including Mental Health (child, adolescent and adult), Corrective Services, the Military, and Private Practice. His experience includes work-related stress and trauma, parent/child relationships, crisis management, anger management, depression, alcohol and drug treatments, personality disorders, and individual empowerment. David is passionate about empowering people so they can go forward and live a more productive, happier, and better life. He offers his clients unconditional positive regard and he equips them with the strategies and the understanding they need to help them become unstuck and go forward. David uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and adopts a solution focussed, eclectic approach. He focusses on personal empowerment and promotes positive healthy aging throughout the life cycle. His primary objective is to assist his clients to help themselves.
