Overview

I am a Clinical Psychologist and have been working as a psychologist for over 15 years. During this time, I have gained experience in a number of specialist areas within Mental Health ACT, having worked in Adult Community, Forensic Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and the Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team. I have experience working in educational settings within schools in the ACT. I have also guest lectured on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology at the Canberra Hospital Paediatrics Ward, Grand Rounds, and at the Department of Education. I have also been a member of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Ethics Committee, and have an interest in human potential. I enjoy working in a therapeutic capacity for a diverse range of clients including: children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples who are experiencing a wide range of personal, emotional and behavioural issues. I am well versed in various therapeutic modalities including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Schema Therapy. I take a respectful, compassionate and non-judgemental approach in working with clients to assist them in moving towards their goals. I am also registered with Medicare as a provider of clinical psychological therapy services, and as such, clients will be eligible to obtain a rebate from Medicare or their health insurance provider, where applicable.
