Mr Adeel Al-Shorachi Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist/ Director of Shorachi Health Group. Mr Adeel Al-Shorachi is a highly skilled occupational therapist who enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and their families using a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring the approach to the client and their therapeutic needs and goals. Such approaches include but are not limited to a range of therapeutic approaches. Adeel specialises in home modifications and assistive technology for private clients, NDIS and aged care participants. Before becoming an occupational therapist, Adeel completed 1000 hours of clinical placements in different settings including public hospitals and private community organisations. As such, he has extensive experience with a cognitively and emotionally diverse range of presentations, such as Autism, intellectual impairment, and disability and he is able to provide support and intervention with parents, teens and adults. Adeel loves working with young people and families, and having the opportunity to help make a positive difference in their lives. He focuses on creating an environment of trust and safety to support young people and their families to share their stories and speak about the joys and challenges of their lives.
