Michael Coetzer is a New Zealand-trained physiotherapist who studied at Auckland University of Technology. Originally born in South Africa, Michael moved to New Zealand at a young age and relocated to Brisbane in 2023. He has dedicated his career to the musculoskeletal (MSK) setting, specializing in acute sporting injuries and post-surgical care, including joint replacements, shoulder reconstructions, and ACL reconstructions. Michael also focuses on accelerated rehabilitation for individuals returning to work after significant injuries and has extensive experience managing premier club rugby union teams for four years. Michael firmly believes that strength is the key to living a pain-free and fulfilling life. He helps his patients achieve this through personalized rehab programs tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, he employs a variety of manual therapy techniques, including massage, joint mobilizations, and dry needling. Michael has furthered his expertise with additional training in Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement through SEPNZ, as well as in dry needling and manual therapy. Outside of work, Michael enjoys training at the gym, taking strolls along the beach, and reading books.

Jonie is a University of Queensland qualified Exercise Physiologist with over 12 years experience in the industry. She has three children who keep her on her toes, and a passion for fitness, nutrition and women's health. Jonie has extensive experience in clinical exercise and uses her knowledge to treat a range of metabolic and lifestyle disorders, as well as surgical or musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Additionally, Jonie also enjoys working with NDIS participants both in the gym, hydrotherapy pool, or remotely. Jonie delivers a realistic yet effective approach to treating patients on both ends of the spectrum, from the individual who may be time poor, lack motivation, and need encouragement, to the exercise fanatic who may need guidance to progress their training or rehabilitation. She utilises both gym and home based strategies to get the job done and achieve patient goals without needing to spend crazy amounts on equipment. Training sessions can be held either at your local gym, Burpengary aquatic centre, or remotely from your residence.
