Monique Chas is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Based in the Baldivis / Rockingham area, she provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at a pace that respects their readiness for change.
Monique supports individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. Known for her warm and empathetic presence, she fosters a sense of trust and connection that enables honest conversations and meaningful personal growth.
Her practice is client-centred and outcome-focused, helping people move toward a greater sense of clarity, purpose, and contentment in everyday life. She draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy—tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual.
In addition to one-on-one counselling, Monique offers clinical supervision for mental health professionals and facilitates workshops and group sessions. Her sessions often focus on self-care in the workplace, avoiding burnout, and personal development—supporting participants to build resilience and connect within a supportive community.
Monique holds a Bachelor of Counselling from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Western Australia. She is committed to lifelong learning and is currently finalising Level 2 training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
