Teri Kim is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who works with adolescents (aged 12+) and adults. As part of her clinical training, Teri has worked with various client presentations across the lifespan in community and rural settings.
Teri is a warm and friendly psychologist who takes a conscientious and collaborative therapeutic approach. She assists clients presenting with anxiety, depression, difficulties adjusting to life transitions, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, low self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and emotion regulation difficulties. She has a particular interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders as well as working with individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations.
Teri works primarily within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, and also draws from elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also fluent in Korean, and would be happy to utilise this in her practice.
Teri is currently under the supervision of Dr Linda Hollis as part of the Clinical Psychology Registrar program.
