Sarah is a warm and compassionate clinical psychology registrar who strives to build authentic connections with clients and provide a safe space where clients can process the challenges of everyday life.
Sarah has experience in providing treatment and support to adult clients, and enjoys supporting those experiencing a range of concerns, including:
- Worry and generalised anxiety
- Anxiety (social and performance anxiety, health anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias)
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Low mood, depression, and hopelessness
- Low self-esteem and self-worth issues
- Perfectionism and related issues (e.g., fear of failure, burnout, imposter syndrome)
- Procrastination
- Interpersonal and relationship difficulties
- Complex trauma and related disorders
- Adjustment to significant life events and coping with change
- Eating disorders and body image concerns
She works from a trauma-informed perspective and draws from a range of evidence-based treatment approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, amongst others. She aims to apply these approaches in an integrative way, understanding the importance of tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each individual.
Sarah’s practice is also shaped by her experience as a clinician at the Western Sydney Eating Disorder Treatment Service, a specialist service for individuals experiencing eating disorders.
