Lauretta is a fully registered psychologist with experience in treating children, in primary and secondary schools, and teens and adults in private practice. She uses a client centered approach and is passionate about working with her clients to resolve their difficulties. She has a lot of empathy for her clients with a special interest in chronic illness and family adjustment. Clients describe her as warm and engaged in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, workplace stress, self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, bullying, OCD and neurodiversity such as ADHD. Lauretta has extensive experience in contributing to the community through charities and organisations such as the Smith Family and working with underprivileged and marginalised groups. You’ll find that she uses a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to achieve effective results and have her clients feeling validated and challenged. Lauretta currently offers Telehealth appointments (zoom or phone), and face to face consultations at practices in Greensborough & Bundoora.
