Kiera is a Clinical Psychologist who grew up in Warrnambool and completed her studies through Deakin University and Federation University. Kiera has worked in the public child and adolescent mental health service for the past 8 years, in various roles including working with children and adolescents with acute mental health difficulties, delivering an early intervention program to Primary Schools and completing psychological assessments for children and adolescents. Kiera’s areas of interest include working with children and adolescents who are neurodivergent (e.g. autism/ADHD) or have mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression or trauma-related difficulties. Kiera also provides parenting intervention and support, as well as psychological assessments including cognitive, learning and neurodevelopmental (autism/ADHD) assessments. Kiera utilises a range of interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, play-based therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and parenting interventions such as Circle of Security. Kiera is also able to provide clinical supervision to provisional or early career psychologists.
